Suveetha Kamatchi KR is a Principal Software Engineer with over 13 years of experience in the field. She has worked in two verticals of Amazon, namely Kindle and Physical Stores, where she has been involved in backend pricing and payments systems. Her work experience predominantly spans across AWS Cloud-based solutions like S3, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, workflows, and microservices. She has used clean coding practices like coding with unit testing, integration testing, monitoring, and continuous deployment pipelines. Suveetha is passionate about collaborating and working in a job where ownership is required to be demonstrated. She loves to take on new challenges and is always eager to learn new things. She has also taken interviews for university hiring events and has done security certification. She has worked in scripting languages for basic uses. Currently, Suveetha is working at NortonLifeLock as a Principal Software Engineer, where she is responsible for the design and development of high-performance fixes for the Cache Eviction Component. She has also worked on ROW (rest of the world) support for a customer tool to make payments and place orders. Prior to NortonLifeLock, Suveetha worked at Tazapay as a Senior Software Engineer, where she worked as a team lead and scrum master for Escrow based transaction using RAPYD and BREX-based CounterParty verification project. She also designed and developed an Escrow Based Solution so that the buyer and seller can trust each other when the product is in transit and quality is verified. She has also designed and developed Counter Party Verification solution for cross border trade where buyer and seller can leverage the product to verify their counter party's business registration information in respective countries. Before Tazapay, Suveetha worked at Amazon as a Software Developer, where she designed, developed, and maintained pricing systems for Physical stores and the complexity to match the price of Amazon.com in POS real-time while being low-latent and handling buy-ability aspects was interesting. She has also developed and maintained software for Physical Stores Payments team (Amazon Book-Store, Amazon-Go, 4-Star). Suveetha holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Anna University, where she graduated in 2008.
